AF-GTC Cryogenic Gate Valve

  • Size Range 1/4" - 3"
  • Pressure Rating ANSI 200 - 300
  • End Connection Threaded, Tube, Pipe
  • Temperature Range Down to - 254°C (- 425°F)

Supplied with extended bonnet with a sufficient gas column length, usually specified by the user, to keep the stem seal packings exposed

Body & Bonnet: Made from bronze castings or austenitic stainless steel investment castings for superior impact strength, minimal heat loss, and corrosion resistance.

Stem: One-piece design for reliable alignment and strength; mirror-finished surface ensures effective packing sealing.

Packing: Chevron PTFE or plastic packing insulated by gas; fire-safe design includes secondary graphite packing.

Gaskets: Bonnet or cap gaskets (e.g., V#7020, GYLON 3500, or SS Graphite Spiral Wound) are oxygen-compatible and suitable for cryogenic applications.

Seating: Self-centering disc with replaceable PCTFE (Kel-F) seat for bubble-tight seals; Stellite 6 metal-to-metal seating prevents seizing and galling.

Extension Options: Custom extension lengths available upon request.

Vent Holes: Incorporated in gate valve wedges to relieve excess pressure from vaporization of cryogenic liquids

Cleaning: Valves for oxygen/cryogenic service are degreased, cleaned, and sealed in a clean room to prevent contamination.

Designed for the production, transport, and storage of liquefied gases such as

Oxygen

Nitrogen

Argon
